Having celiac disease, it is necessary for me to purchase foods that are gluten-free. Gluten-free means that there should be no wheat, barley, rye or oats in the product and the product should not be processed with gluten products or near products containing gluten to prevent cross- contamination. I spend a great deal of time reading labels to make sure what I am buying is gluten-free. There are not many products which are labeled gluten-free and it would be so helpful if such labeling would be more prevalent. I already buy products that are labeled gluten-free and this often determines whether I buy a product or not. It is important for me stay healthy and this is done only by maintaining a gluten-free diet. Please consider gluten-free labeling as helping the many celiacs throughout the US.
