After reading your draft and other news media regarding the regulations for providing the public with food from these cloned animals, I strongly disagree with the FDA's refusal to identify the products which come from these cloned animals. I believe that it is our RIGHT to know exactly where our food is coming from - I don't care if your five years of research deem the products indistinguishible from the products which come from non-cloned animals. I have three little children whom I am responsible for making decisions for and I want to be fully informed about the products I purchase for my family. If the FDA thinks that consumers would not want to know I believe you are wrong. Not advising the consumers which products come from real animals and which come from cloned animals is like not telling a child that he/she was adopted. We have a right to know where we come from and where our food comes from and to make the choice whether we trust food that comes from genetically cloned animals for ourselves.
