Issue Areas/Comments
As a concerned consumer of our current food safety, and a supporter of organic and non GMO foods and livestock, I don't support the use of cloned foods. If the FDA can't even keep spinach safe, how can they regulate cloned experiments? Food is best in it's most natural and wild form. I don't feel cloned animals have been around long enough for their product to be 'safe.' I also feel strongly that all GMO and cloned foods should be required to have a label stating such. This most recent finding is in support of the wrong direction of healthy and safe food supply. The FDA should really be focusing on the current system of food safety and figuring out how to make it better. They should also be promoting the health and safety of organic foods, buying and growing locally, and seasonal variety rather than declaring a relatively new expermiment like cloning safe. Thank you for your time.
