Issue Areas/Comments
It seems very reckless and concerning that the FDA would not give consumers the right to choose whether to eat cloned meat or not, there should be a label on the food product, this violates many peoples right to choose what they are putting in their bodies. I personally would not eat cloned meat and if approved to not to have such label may consider becoming a vegetarian. How does the FDA closely monitor which animals are chosen to be cloned, can they be sure that Mad Cow disease or Mad Pig disease isnt being reproduced at a mass rate and entered into the food industry. The FDA should allow us consumers to decide what we want to eat, we should know what is contained in the food, hot house tomatoes have clear labels.
