Issue Areas/Comments
I demand that my food be labeled with clear, bold print if that product contains CLONED animal products or by-products in it. I will not ever purposefully eat a cloned animal nor it's off spring. The long term health aspects negative or positive are impossible to determine after a 5 year study. There are many articles that state cloned animals die young and have birth defects at a higher rate then the regular/normal animals. Cloned animal and animal by-products should not be put in US markets until decades of studies have been done by varying scientific groups. Is it possible that a higher rate of cancer, birth defects, hormonal imbalances, or other abnormalities could occur at a later stage and a further study would reveal this? Why chance the American publics health? Are cloned animal and animal by-products health promoting or wallet fattening? Don't risk my health. Don't put food on my table on the sly without proper labeling!
