Issue Areas/Comments
Cloning animals for FOOD!..you owe it..no..you are obligated to make it mandatory to inform the public (the people who pay your salaries) if meat products are the result of cloning. This is a VERY personal choice..some won't care... but since we are informed (as we SHOULD be), if grains are genetically altered...it is NOT a stretch to assume we'd also like to know if meat comes from a cloned animal. This is a no-brainer.. Go back to your drawing board and do the right thing for goodness sakes! 'THINK' about who you work for..it is NOT the meat industry (it better not be)..it is the public.. I am going to call on my Congressman AND both Senators to bring their collective weight to bare on this important issue. I'm not sure you have any idea of the backlash this will cause. I WILL COMPLETELY give up any meat product 'produced in the US IF you don't reverse yourselves...this is not an empty promise.
