I am concerned that testing has not met all fears that may arise on the issue of selling cloned meat, poultry and dairy products. First off the cloning process is one that the general public is not well educated. I beleive a pervasive fear of cloning anything is generally felt. Testing has not been widely publized and therefore a state of general ignorance exists. Pre-education and conversation in the general public must first take place before introduction of these products. Indeed labeling the products as cloned is essential and perhaps, like drugs tested and trialed, the product must accompany these findings and results. Do we know that anomolies such as a predisposition for desease will not occure and perhaps be magnified by cloning? These questions and others must be addressed. Do not succumb to pressure from the industry on this very contraversial issue. do the homework first.
