| I dont know what some officials are thinking at the FDA. They seem hell bent on trying new technologies with lack of testing. Your record of safety regarding the food supply has been very poor of late with the e-coli outbreaks. Frankly, I dont trust your judgment. Genetics is a relatively new science and cloning is very new, in my opinion. So why are we jumping off the cliff with cloned animals for meat? The FDA is having problems with drugs that have been rushed to approval and then recalled due to horrific side effects, so why are you approving cloned meat technologies that are still in their infancy? Any scientist worth their salt will tell you they dont understand everything about genetics. I would like to know if any meat product that I buy is cloned as I will surely not purchase it.
