Issue Areas/Comments
Eating cloned animals is distastefull to me and I would wonder why we need to clone animals anyway when we can have plenty of meat in the USA. And people in other countries do not want to eat cloned meat so who would they be cloning the animals for if not for USA citizens? We need to stop being gluttons in America. We have an obesity problem in the USA so why do we need more food. I think the FDA should try to look out for consumers more and stop worrying about making friends in big business. More and more people are wanting to go back to the old way of eating healthier foods that have not been altered such as corn. Now diabetics cannot even have corn on the cob without their blood sugar going up higher because the farmers have messed with the corn trying to make it sweeter. I think the way Europe has their food source is so much better. We are creating problems for ourselves and the FDA needs to think about what they doing with less tunnel vision and look at the big picture. The Korean people live the longer life and they eat less meat and foods that better for you. Please stop allowing these companies to taint our foods. Please. Respectfully, Helen Collier
