Issue Areas/Comments
I am writing to support the bill to stop using product from downed animals for animal feed.

As a consumer, I need to be sure that the food products I purchase are safe and cannot contain contaminated diseases that may have come from a naturally vegetarian animal eating the downed remnants of another - possibly diseased - animal.

Please do not allow these products to enter any part of the food chain. A downed animal is an example of the failure of modern farming methods, it is not a source of cheap food for animals to eat.

I appreciate your consideration of my comments.
