Since 2013, the University of Marylanddisclaimer icon Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation--an FDA grant recipient--and the clinical translational science institute at the University of Rochester have held an annual America’s Got Regulatory Science Talent Competition to spark student interest in the pioneering field of regulatory science.  Competing student teams presented a proposed solution to a current regulatory science challenge, aligned with FDA science priorities. Each of the presentations were then evaluated by a panel of judges for the quality, novelty, potential significance, and feasibility of their proposed solutions.
