WHO Warns Consumers in Pakistan of Risks Associated with Contaminated Medicines

FDA is aware of significant safety issues associated with medicines manufactured and distributed in Pakistan by Efroze Chemical Industries Pvt. Ltd. Since these products are not FDA approved and have not been legally imported into the United States, the Agency believes there is little likelihood of these products reaching U.S. consumers and harming the American Public. FDA will continue to monitor the situation closely and reminds the public about the possible dangers of buying medicines over the Internet.
