Christine Shreeve is Director of CDER’s Office of Communications (OCOMM). She oversees CDER’s public outreach and internal communications programs. Ms. Shreeve’s expertise includes communications strategy, strategic planning and evaluation, coalition building, policy analysis, communications program managements, writing, and media relations.
Before joining CDER, Ms. Shreeve was the Director of Social Marketing at Ketchum, a global public relations firm. She directed a large staff that supports $30 million in federal government communications contracts. She also served as the Senior Vice President, Ogilvy Public Relations, where she managed communications programs for the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has headed recruitment for multiple pharmaceutical clinical trials and provided communications support to the National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), the National Institute for Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), the National Cancer Institute (NCI), and Pfizer.
Ms. Shreeve earned a bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College, with distinction in German, and a master’s degree in German from Brown University.
