FAIRWAY “LIKE NO OTHER MARKET” Recalls FAIRWAY Brand Candy Corn Because of Possible Health Risk

FAIRWAY “LIKE NO OTHER MARKET” of New York, NY is voluntarily recalling FAIRWAY brand Candy Corn, because it may contain undeclared egg. People who have an allergy to egg run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

FAIRWAY Candy Corn was distributed to Fairway stores in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, and also through home delivery programs provided by Fairway E-commerce, Google and Instacart.

The product is packaged in clear, plastic cello bags of varying weights, each weighing less than one pound. The product bears Item Code 228402 XXXXXX. All “SELL BY” Date codes are being recalled. No other Fairway products are involved.

The recall is the result of a reported allergic reaction. The company has ceased distribution of the FAIRWAY brand Candy Corn and has removed the product from Fairway store shelves. FAIRWAY has corrected the labeling of the product.

Consumers who purchased the FAIRWAY brand Candy Corn should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at (646) 616-8265, Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm EST.
