Pesticide Residue Monitoring 1999 Report and Data

Welcome to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Pesticide Residue Monitoring Report and Data for Fiscal Year (FY) 1999. The report summarizes the results of FDA’s pesticide monitoring program for FY 1999. Results in the report demonstrate that levels of pesticide residues in the U.S. food supply are well below established safety standards.

1999 Report

The 1999 report is derived from the pesticide residue data provided in the original analytical sample data file (SMPL1999.txt). Statistical summary files and other reference files are also provided.

All files must be downloaded for further use. No online search capability is available for these files. The following data files represent only the samples that were analyzed as part of the FDA regulatory pesticide residue monitoring program in FY 1999; no data from the Total Diet Study are included.
