Original NDAs and BLAs

The vertical stacked column graph presents original BLAs and NDAs for FY 2001 through FY 2005 . The scale is in increments of 20 with a ceiling of 140. It shows that the number of NDAs was near 100 from FY 2001 through FY 2003 and again in FY 2005. FY 2004 is shown to have an unusually high number with 120 NDAs. The number of BLAs stayed fairly constant from FY 2001 through FY 2005 at just below 10. It is footnoted that the count of FY 2005 submissions assumes that all submissions received in the last two months of FY 2005 are filed.
