I would like to see an approach whereby the FDA looks at any product FIRST as to what good might it do. Drug manufacturers should have no more priority at getting products to market than any other industry. Prescribed medications cause over 100,000 deaths a year in the USA; health food supplements virtually none. In all honesty, the FDA appears to work for the drug manufacturers, not for the American people.
