 I have been using Obagi products containing hydroquinone for at least 5 years.  I have never experienced any ill effects from using it.  As a matter of fact, I have found hydoquinone to to be the only product which lightens the dark spots on my skin caused by acne scarring. I would be very unhappy and disappointed were hydroquinone to be taken off the market.
