 I feel that what the FDA is proposing to do is a waste of money and would hurt the consumer more than help.  After all, if the consumers have been using these products for 30+ years why now take them off the market to do research just because some rat has been injected with the products.  We do not take these products orally or at the dose that may have been given to the experminental rats.  These products are used topically and at a lower dose than would have been given to the mice.  However, mice are much smaller specimens than a human and would not be able to tolerate the high dosage that was administered to them.  I think the government could use our money much wiser on other research.
