 My patient population is largely hispanic-many dyschromias, pigmentary problems in the patient group.  Very concerned about the potential of hydroquinone being difficult to get as this is a safe, effective treatment for this group.  I use it extensively for pretreatment in laser surgery in ethnic patients (an absolute requirement before they CAN be treated.)Have never seen ochronosis in the 17+ years in practice.
