| i was put on the drug effexor xr almost 2 years ago after i broke my hip. i am a 54 year old woman. this drug has caused so much havoc in my life. i almost killed myself when i was coming off of it. i started withdrawing aug. 18, 2006 it is now nov. 29, 2006 and i am still not o.k. i had lupus 17 years ago i am exibiting symtoms of that now proably from the trauma of the withdrawal. this is a very dangerous drugs. the things that went through my mind shouldn't have. please listen to what the public is telling you about these drugs. something is terribly wrong with this medication and medications like them.
