I wish to go on record as someone who has suffered tremendously from mercury poisoning from amalgam dental fillings. For years I went from doctor to doctor, was diagnosed with chronic fatigue/fibromyalgia, chronic sinus infections, constant sore throats and swollen glands, a low-grade fever for ten years, constant headaches, pus coming our of my eyes, knees so bad I had to go sideways down stairs, allergies to most everything, gastrointestinal problems, depression, suicidal thoughts, severe brain fog, diabetes, and many other "ailments". I got pain in my stomach whenever I ate tuna fish, and always had a nasty taste in my mouth which my ADA dentist dismissed as "grandmother mouth". I had amalgam under fixed bridges; my ADA dentist said it was "protected". When I finally got to a holistic dentist (who was later driven out of business by the ADA) and had the first of four quadrant of fillings removed, there was a drop of mercury that had leeched out of the filling and was pooled at the root of the tooth against a nerve, causing me terrible pain that no one could figure out. The holistic dentist saved my life! After the first removal, within an hour I could walk down stairs with no knee pain, my mind became clearer, and within four weeks my feet had gone down one full shoe size. I had to sell my house to cover the costs of removal of amalgam replacment of all the bridgework, the surgical treatment of infections in my jawbone and the accompanying medical work as none of the treatment was covered by insurance, thanks again to the ADA saying there was no such disease and the AMA blindly accepting it without demanding the FDA test the stuff! Seven years later I feel better than I ever have in my life, and am rid of ALL symptoms, even diabetes! Had I not had the amalgam removed carefully, I would no doubt be living out the rest of my life in a nursing home diagnosed with Alheimer's! I am legion... I shudder whenever I think of amalgam being put in the mouths of children. Please test amalgam and prove to the dental and medical communities that mercury poisoning from amalgam fillings isn't just an "allergy" or that it's not "all in your head" and that it is compromising the health of millions.
