health issues

To whom it may concern, please kindly pass on my comments to the Food and
Drug Administration.


I have several mercury fillings. As a 13 year old learning basic high school
chemistry I became aware of the toxicity of Mercury and was concerned when
my Dentist used amalgam fillings in my teeth.

 I was assured that the mercury in fillings does not come out. I now know
this to be a lie, made up and spread by the American Dental Association and
then used by other Dental Associations throughout the world.

 I have heard that the American Dental Association is now decrying liability
for harm resulting from mercury fillings, claiming that the Association can
not control what dentists do and it was the dentists who actually made up
the fillings and placed them.

 There is abundant evidence that Mercury does leak out of Amalgam fillings
and would cause insidious harm to health.

 Please stop the fraud of placing this poison in people's mouths. Millions
of people would have suffered poorer health because of this practice.

I believe that there are countries where dentists have to give warning to
patients about mercury fillings and there are 2 counties that will pay the
cost of a person having their mercury fillings removed, so concerned are
they at the long term health effects.
