I received my first filling at age 10, after which I began to have problems focusing, breathing, and concetrating. As I received more fillings through my early teen years, I had trouble with fatigue and shortness of breath, mood swings and depression. By the time I was 15 years old I had about 14 amalgam fillings. I did not know that they contained mercury until I was 32 years old. At which time my health had deteriorated. I did not have energy like many others my age. I had aches, pains, shortness of breath, burning lungs, depression, mood swings, cold hands and feet, anemia, hypoglycemia, the list goes on. In short, for a young person I felt sick all the time. After realizing that I had literally a hazmat waste facility in my mouth, it became obvious what the cause of my ill health was. IT cost me a fortune to have these fillings removed. However, the benefits to my health were obvious immediately following the removal. I know that many people who stand to make profit from amalgams or fear lawsuit, claim that they are not harmful. That these fillings do not leak at all or very little amounts. I am living proof contrary to that. There are thousands of us who can feel a difference when we don't eat and breath mercury. Within hours our my removal, the burning pain in my lungs was gone, my vision was clearer, my chronic dry mouth was gone. Within days, I regained warmth in my hands and feet, something I had not had in years. My bleeding gums are gone. I no longer have clenching teeth, jaw and face pain, nightmares and host of other symptoms. So while I know that many beleive mercury is ok to put in humans, there is tons of science that says otherwise, and thousand of people who can vouch for the truth. I being one of them. I would have thought it was a crazy idea myself if I had not lived it. The sad things is that many children have these fillings and will suffer life long damage from them. Many pregnant women are swallowing mercury and breathing mercury from their fillings, and what is that doing to their babies? This is a needless dental material in the day and age of composites. Composites are far better in terms of dental restoration and preservation of a tooth. It is sad that other humans insist on making money by poisoning their fellow man. Please read the science on mercury amalgam fillings. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, J M -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How low will we go?
