Subject: Time to ban silver alloy dental amalgams

MY husband and I have had all the amalgams removed from our teeth as they are a toxin with every bite and grind of our

tooth surfaces.  This was proven by a meter measuring off gassing at a friendly science fair.  So why is it that mercury 

in the atmosphere is a greater danger than the atmosphere of my mouth, which I get to inhale while I breathe and eat?



Time to listen to Sweden and other such advanced thinking countries and look at the experiments done with sheep and

their babies to show that it does transfer from pregnant doe to ewe.  We do not need to poison the next generation and the 

next.



Time to get serious and ban mercury from human ingestion and thus slow the rate of chronic degenerative disease.  It

needs to be outlawed, but out of concern for the reproductive age category women, and those pregnant and lactating and 

their children.  Low income kids get stuck with this stuff at the dentist because it is cheap and fast.  Time to get use 

dental composites for everyone, rich and poor alike and protect both health and IQ’s.  This is no different than the lead issue.
