| Docket No. 2006N-0352
________________________ ___________________________ To: Adjodha, Michael E Subject: Mercury Amalgam dental fillings. Dear Mr. Adjodha, Some months ago, a San Jose, California, commission was looking for ways to reduce mercury contamination in the local environment. It was revealed that a lot of mercury is released from dental fillings during cremation. A suggestion was made that the dental fillings should be removed before cremation. I have not read anymore about that idea. The thought of doing such a thing was probably so repugnant that it did not go any further, but it is just one more reason to eliminate the use of mercury amalgam, fillings, in addition to the harm it does to those living with the fillings. Please ban the use of mercury amalgam fillings. Regards, Billie Barewald, R.N. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
