Dear Mr. Adjodha:

In response to the FDA's accepting public comment on suspected neuro-toxicity of mercury amalgam fillings, I recommend that mercury fillings be banned in the United States, if there's any reason to believe that mercury vapor escapes from amalgams and is absorbed and accumulates in the human body.

Realizing the enormous expense of having to refill all teeth in the US, I also recommend the U. S. government accept full responsibility for the uninsured, in addition to standing behind the insurance industry, as all parties were given the U. S. government's safe assurance over the use of mercury dental fillings.

Among other testimonial qualifications (listed below), as a top-rated Clear Channel (WHYN NewsTalk 560) radio talk show host (1993 - present), I have interviewed scientists and lead numerous 'on-air' discussions throughout my career about mercury toxicity, convincing me that any minute human exposure to mercury should not be tolerated. Thank you.

Respectfully yours,
Charles G. Spencer, SFO
