| My dentist would go out of business if he used mercury fillings! He said that many of his new patients first ask if he uses mercury before making an appointment. Of course he is located in the middle class part of town. Dentists for the poor still use mercury. Even if the poor know better, they have little choice. That is all the government will pay for.
I know many adults who claim mercury fillings have ruined their health. I've talked to mothers who think their child's autism was due to a mercury amalgam filling installed while they were pregnant. Sadly, I saw a small child in the park who had ataxia along with a mouth full of copper-mercury fillings. Was his ataxia due to the copper mercury amalgams which I hear releases more mercury than other amalgams? How many lives are we ruining so that we can continue to use cheap dental materials. The devastation certainly is not worth the money supposedly saved. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
