| A Unique Device Identification system could be implemented similar to the Department of Defense UID system and the automotive VIN identification. This is becoming a fairly easy system to implement with a number of alternatives available for marking, securing and identification. You might be surprised how tape can be used to provide critical information and also how economically it can be used for permanent marking, including 2D barcodes, microscripting and other security and identification requirements.
