GENERAL
This is a critical juncture in our nation's history and in time. The guidelines that the FDA is about to issue provide the ethical compass not only for our country, but for the world as well. If we are indeed a free nation where the unalienable right to life is proclaimed in our Declaration of Independence, then no person's life can or should be forfeited for the sake of others.Utilizing any cell lines, existing or new that have been derived from aborted fetal tissue is not an advancement in science. It is a debasement of science. It is time for the FDA to officially end this practice and not to squander this opportunity to mandate morally ethical practices that are equal for all pharmaceutical companies. We do not need to sacrifice any human life in any form to provide good health for all.The FDA must demand that all companies use non-objectional sources for the development of vaccines. This decision will not cause regrets and is truly made for the good of all.
