| I strongly object to using aborted fetal cells for any purpose.
There are two reasons: 1. I could not in conscience avail myself of any medication that was developed by, or uses as a constiuent, any aborted fetal cells. 2. Using aborted fetal cells for the production of anti-viral medications will inevitably increase the demand for fetal cells. Young, emotionally vulnerable girls will be offered the opportunity to "save a life" by aborting their babies. This situation will reduce the unborn child to the status of a body part that can be donated. The ironic fact is that this "body part" can be re-grown and re-donated many times. Thus I see the acceptance of using fetal cells as increasing, and making less traumatic for the mother, the abortion of her baby. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
