| I am writing to you regarding Docket: 2006D-0383. I respectfully request that vaccines be manufactured without using aborted fetal tissue. The use of aborted fetal tissue for the manufacturing of vaccines is morally unacceptable to me. Why put the population at risk by not producing vaccines that are not derived from fetal cell lines? Many people will refuse "tainted" vaccines because they can not in good conscience accept them and so the population of unvaccinated indiviuals will increase.
As a Roman Catholic, I can not in good conscience accept vaccines that are manufactured using aborted fetal cell lines. The Holy Father, Benendict XVI, has asked all Catholics to lobby against the manufacturing of these vaccines and faithful Catholics will find it difficult, if not impossible, to accept the use of these vaccines. I urge you to stop the use of aborted fetal tissue in vaccines and to provide alternative vaccines so that the population can remain safe. Sincerely, Margaret Blouin | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
