| NOW HERE COME ASSOCIATES of the Missionaries for the Evangelium Vitae (MEV), an apostolic society of the Roman Catholic Church, with comments on Docket Number 2006D-0383 before the Honorable Food and Drug Administration.
We respectfully present, allege and request as follows: 1. That use of cells from aborted fetuses should not be employed in the production of viral vaccines. 2. That the approval of the use of cells for the production of viral vaccines could create a black market in the trafficking of human fetuses for use in vaccine production. 3. That this would be exploitative of women, and detrimental to the mental and physical health of the women entrapped into such abortion- inducing behavior. 4. That approval of the use of aborted fetal tissues in vaccine production would, therefore, cause public health problems for the U.S., due to the demonstrable impact that abortions have on the mental and physical health of women. WHEREFORE, we very respectfully pray that the Honorable Food and Drug Administration of the U.S. refuse to qualify or approve the use of cells from aborted fetuses in the production of viral vaccines, as it is demonstrably bad for the public health. Very Respectfully Submitted Propria Persona, Sui Juris December 14, 2006 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
