Dear FDA,
It disturbs me highly that I cannot get a rubella vaccine from ethical sources for my children. My children did not get a chicken pox vaccine because of the cell line having been derived from aborted fetal tissue. We don't get flu shots because I don't have the time or wherewithall to be researching where they are derived from. Since there are other ethical cell lines available, why should some of the population have to remain unvaccinated because they cannot accept vaccines derived from aborted tissue? We become at risk and then place others at risk because we may spread a preventable disease (such as the recent mumps outbreak) to those who have not recently had a booster shot. Please consider having all future vaccinations come from ethical sources so that we can all be safe physically and morally and not be obliged to sacrifice our health and everyone else's.

Sincerely,
Susan A. Henderson, RN
