| Dear Sirs/Madams:
I am writing you today as a mother. I have eight children and I love each and everyone dearly. Fortunately, my children have not suffered anything devastating besides common childhood illnesses and accidents. I am very grateful for the companies that make vaccines without human fetal cell lines. I, in good conscience, can let my children be vaccinated. But, when there is no other alternative but human fetal lines, that is where I draw the line. One such incidence in our lives was the chicken pox vaccine. We refused to take the vaccine. We chose instead to let all our children become infected with it including my baby who was only months old at the time. Their vaccination records are not complete because of the vaccines originating with human cell lines. I am very conscientious about my children's health, but I am stuck and I have to wait until an acceptable vaccine is made or hope that they won't catch that certain disease. I want all my children healthy, but NOT at the cost of someone else's life. This is abuse in its worse form. I'm sure those baby fetuses would not choose to be a sacrifice as good as the results or intentions may be. You may be saying to yourself, "Well, the mother aborted them and they are going to be discarded anyway, so why not use them?" I am sure that this is what the Nazi's way of thinking was when they were experimenting on those helpless, non-volunteering victims. Have we as a nation and a people stooped so low that we are willing to sacrifice someone else's life for the betterment of another? If the vaccines can be made morally, without the use of embryos etc, WHY NOT DO IT THIS WAY?? What is this love affair with the ill-gotten human fetus cell lines? If you can make it with chicken cell lines, everyone is happy and there is no controversy. Isn't this the easy way out? I hope that you will hear my plea and make the write decisions. Very sincerely, Minerva Calderon | |||||||||||||||||||||||
