| I urge that the FDA require that the pharmaceutical industry produce vaccines that are not connected with cell
lines derived from aborted human fetuses. Alternative vaccines which do not use cell lines from aborted human fetuses are morally and ethically acceptable, and in conformity with the dignity of the human person. I also urge that you implement policies that promote the advancement of alternative vaccines as well as rigorous legal oversight of pharmaceutical industry producers.
