 As a supporter of life at all stages from conception to natural death, I strongly urge you to avoid the use of aborted fetal cell lines in your research and development of disease-preventing vaccines.  The "harvesting" of aborted fetal cell materials is especially abhorrent to me when using other sources (such as bacteria) can provide the same "raw materials" for the vaccines and can be obtained without ethical implications.



In considering the sources for production of vaccines, we have to remember that "There, but for the grace of God, go I".  What if our parents had decided to give us up as "raw material" instead?  Can you who are parents even imagine sacrificing your own children in this manner?  I believe it's easy for us to distance ourselves and think "It's no big deal" when we don't think our decisions will affect us or those close to us.  Please remember that those decisions will affect SOMEONE close to us and that "what goes around, comes around."
