| Tramadol is NOT currently a Controlled Substance, and I am requesting, in my capacity as a patient who has been prescribed Tramadol for severe chronic pain, that the FDA NOT schedule Tramadol.
Tramadol is a useful medication for those in pain. Tramdol has been prescribed for several years. Scheduling simply has the effect of scaring those in the medical profession from prescribing medications for relief of pain.
Please leave the medical decisions in the hands of my doctor; scheduling will not stop MY doctor from prescribing this medication for me, but it most certainly have a chilling effect for many other doctors and their patients.
Thank you for taking my comments into consideration.
