GENERAL
As an anesthesiologist trained in airway management I believe it is irresponsible and dangerous to patient welfare to allow anyone but an MD or CRNA trained in airway resusitation to administer a medication that can easily induce apnea. It will simply be a matter of time until a death results from improper administration of this medication by a health care worker unable to support an airway. It is a general anesthesia induction agent, and until it is classified as something else, it should only be used by anesthesia personel.
