| I think it is time to take a look at advertising any kind of drug on television and in magazines. It seems that almost anyone could have any one of the numerous symptoms described in an ad and then decide they need the drug. There are irresponsible doctors who will prescribe a drug just because the patient has asked for it and states they have the symptons that they have seen on TV.
It is known that most drugs advertised can be fatal or very harmful if over or mis-used. Tobacco companies cannot advertise cigartes on television. Alcohol advertisers cannot show anyone drinking a drink, yet we are asking the general public to self prescribe the drugs that they think they need based on a television commercial. I'm sick of it.
