| I would like to see the FDA fulfill their responsibility to stop pharmaceutical companies from advertising that psychiatric drugs handle a "chemical imbalance of the brain." There is NO scientific or medical proof that this is factual and statistically, psychiatric drugs are responsible for more homicides and suicides that any other drug in history. Many have deadly results. Many others addict chidlren to anphetamines that are abused wildly and are commonly used or sold as street drugs. Again, there is no scientific proof of "attention deficit disorder" and our country's future leaders are taught to handle life's problems by drugging them away instead of handling life the good old fashioned way of living it. Every case that I have observed of "attention deficit disorder", a made up disorder by the psychiatric industry, (more "patients", more income) has been completely handled with tutoring. Without false information being spread, people would have no reason to take these strong mind altering drugs any more than they would in taking illegal street drugs. Psych drugs and street drugs are one in the same as both merely cover symptoms but don't cure any "diseases". Please fulfill your responsiblities. Broadly forwarding false information only contributes to a country already in crisis-most individuals and parents want to do the right thing and are looking for help. They need REAL help. They need TRUTHFUL information. The FDA is responsible for making sure broadly disseminated information is based on the truth supported by facts. Please recognize that our country does NOT need further drugging. They need true help and truthful information. There is an abundance of information to support this argument online, in medical journals and elsewhere. Please let me know if you need further information.
Thank you for attention.
