Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
The massive amounts of money available to drug companies have given them an undue ability to influence the public through ads, the media through advertising payments, and the government through lobbyists.
In the case of drugs supposedly improving mental health, their own studies show that placebos are almost as effective. Drug costs could be greatly reduced and many dangerous side effects averted with just about the same positive results by doing this: Hire disquished looking people from "central casting" to give out sugar pills.
Please, look to the actual best interests of the American public and not the best interests of drug company shareholders. Curtail advertising of drugs on TV and more aggressively investigate the actual benefits from drugs.
