| Dear FDA,
I am writing to you to voice my concern over psychiatric drugs being advertised as 1)handling a chemical imbalance and 2)being safe and effective. Both of these statements are false. The psychiatric association has no clinical proof of any of their named "chemical imblances" that they claim their drugs handle. So this classifies as false advertising in my estimation. All you have to do is read the side effects of their drugs to realize that they are anything but safe. All that drugs do is mask the problem in an effort to treat the symptom. They do not handle the source of the condition so therefore they cannot be classified as effective either. I am asking you to really take to heart my comments, and those of others I know you are receiving. Your efforts to stop this false advertising and lies would be sincerely appreciated by all Americans and would contribute vastly to the safety and well-being of our citizens.
Sincerely, Linda Smith
