| I am writing to raise my concerns about psychiatric drug advertising and the claims being made by drug companies that these medications correct the chemical imbalance associated with specific mental disorders.
There is no lab test to identify if the patient has a chemical imbalance.
There is no known correct level for serotonin, dopamine or any other brain chemical.
These psychiatric drugs do not correct any imbalance, they merely change the physiology of the brain and work as a placebo for some but in others they are causing suicide and acts of violence.
Please do the right thing and stop this fraudulent act by the drug companies of making claims that are just not true. These drugs are far too dangerous for this false advertising to continue.
