| Dear FDA,
I'm completely opposed to the mis-information given in psychiatric drug commercials and feel this is only a way to create demand for medications people don't need. There are so many healthy alternatives to mild depression and anxiety that has nothing to do with the preposterous theory of "chemical imbalances". Drug companies are preying on the uneducated masses who don't have the judgement ability or education levels needed to see the idiocy of handling a nutritional or behavioral deficit with a chemical not found naturally in the body or it's main food sources. I've never seen anyone in my 28 years as a nurse with a Zoloft deficiency...need I say more? I expect your agency to protect the majority of people in our country and set the standard for drug promotions to professionals only and keep the ridiculous claims of psychiatric medications off the airwaves. You know, I think cocaine and alcohol also make people feel better temporarily?
