There is no scientific evidence that such a thing as a chemical imbalance in the brain exists, let alone that any drug helps 'correct' it. Even top authorities in the field are starting to admit this. Yet I continue to see those psychiatric drug ads on TV, the web and in print proliferating this myth? I propose that the FDA put a stop to this false and misleading advertising. Why are drugs that must be prescribed by a doctor being sold on the media like candy to begin with? It's nothing short of shameless. It would only be more shameless if the FDA were to do nothing about it.
