GENERAL
I am against selling the morning after pill over the counter. The long term effects of taking high doses of the drug have not been determined. Without a doctor available to prescribe, women in crisis situations could take the drug regardless of any personal health issues that could be detrimental (ie kidney problems). Sex predators and abusers would be able to purchase the drugs and use on their victims. Too many people would use the drug in lieu of prevention methods and the long term effects aren't known. Birth control is not disease control and many young adults would think they were safe - as they do with many birth control methods.
