I disagree with our nation marketing emergency contraception to anyone in our beloved country and particularly young girls. To offer a drug that has the potential to make a womb a hostile environment for a fertilized egg (an embryo) is equivalent to an abortion. To make this available to young girls who may be harmed by the drug is one reason not to allow the drug. But a second and more alarming reason is that a young girl could potentially be the victim of a rape or incest and the drug will allow a perpetrator a "cloak" of protection. We should not allow a drug that could aid criminals the ability to hide from justice and allowing plan B emergency contraception to young girls is a way that this could happen. God bless you.
