| as a health professional, and specifically as an ob/gyn, i strongly urge the fda to approve plan b as an otc drug without restriction. there is abundant research refuting the claim that plan b availablity to teens would increase their sexual activity. in addition, the potential to significantly reduce the abortion rate in the united states should be a goal eschewed by both sides of the abortion debate. i find it mystifying that the fda has yet to move on the plan b issue, despite it's own advisory panel's anaylysis to do so.
