| Please do not delay any longer the approval of the Plan B contraceptive as an OTC drug. A decision on the availability of this drug should be made by looking at the scientific facts of the drug, not by political ideology or religious beliefs. As the parent of daughter, I would rather have something like this available for her to use immediately if needed than face the delay of trying to get a prescription written and filled during an emergency. As for me, I am still of childbearing age, but have no desire to have any more children. Why should my husband and I have to risk an unintended preganancy?? (I'm in my 40's) Let's use commom sense here!
If men could get pregnant, I'll bet Plan B would be available for purchase in gas stations!! Show some backbone and quit politicizing the approval of drugs that could benefit women of all ages.
